What this name is good for

This is a name that does marketing work on its own. Riverbank cabins puts a picture in somebody's head — water, trees, a wood burner, no phone signal — before they have seen a single photograph. Names that carry a mood are hard to come by and very hard to invent.

The natural owner is a lodge or cabin site, particularly one actually on a river, but it does not have to be literal. It would work for a glamping business, a group of holiday lodges, a fishing lake with accommodation, or a single owner with two or three cabins who wants a proper brand rather than a listing on somebody else's platform. That last case is the one worth dwelling on: owners who rely entirely on the big booking sites hand over a large slice of every booking, and the only way out is a name people can remember and return to directly.

It would also suit a small booking agency specialising in waterside and woodland stays, or a holiday park adding a cabin offer that deserves separating from the caravans.

The .co.uk is right for it. Short breaks are booked domestically, by people who want somewhere two hours from home, and the extension says so.

If you would rather we built something on it

A domain on its own is a name and nothing else. If you want the site as well, that is what we do all day — we can have something live and selling on this name rather than leaving it pointing at nothing. How we build sites
