What this name is good for

This one is a brand rather than a description, and it should be bought as one. It is short, it is memorable, and the definite article gives it the feel of a name rather than a category, which is why it will never rank for anything on its own but will stick in a customer's head after one telling.

Entertainment is the obvious fit. It is a ready-made name for a band, a covers act, a tribute show or a DJ collective — the sort of thing that has to look right on a poster and be shouted across a noisy room. It would suit an events company running themed nights, a murder-mystery or prohibition-era dining act, or a fancy dress and costume hire business.

Away from the stage it works for a guided tour operator — the walking tours of London, Manchester and Glasgow that trade on gangland history do good business and mostly trade under forgettable names. It would carry an escape room, a paintball or airsoft site, a true-crime podcast, or a karting team.

The .co.uk is not a limitation for any of those. Every one of them is a business selling to people who are already in the country and looking for something to do this weekend.

If you would rather we built something on it
